Ian Roberts

Principal Consultant

Ian has over 36 years’ operational and planning experience within Defence and brings a wealth of knowledge on management and strategic planning to each client’s project.

Ian’s experience in Aviation and Operations in Australia, Asia-Pacific, the United States, and the Middle East brings a wealth of experience to Noetic. For the last decade, he has worked across Defence providing direction and improvement to military operations and training. Ian specialises in operational planning but has experience in a wide array of areas, including Modelling and Simulation for training Defence personnel and connecting simulation capabilities. Ian is well known in the Defence area and is known for his ability to develop innovative solutions.

Ian is passionate and dedicated to delivering a great outcome for clients, which reflects the Noetic ethos. He enjoys working with clients to learn the way they operate, collaboratively developing solutions that will have real impact on the organisation. He is also a firm believer in the Noetic approach to work with clients, not come in and reinvent the wheel.
