Yvonne is known for her critical thinking and advocacy skills. She has a passion for helping clients to ask the tough questions and working side by side to design and implement sustainable outcomes.   Working primarily at the senior executive and Board level, Yvonne has amassed an enviable level of professional skill in corporate strategy, execution and policy implementation, focusing on achieving outcomes though good governance, risk management and program leadership.

Yvonne is General Manager Strategy and Governance and a Principal Consultant.  As General Manager, Yvonne engages widely with clients across all sectors and is responsible for ensuring our integrated service offerings are relevant, contemporary, and designed to meet specific client needs. As a Principal Consultant, she provides project oversight to key consulting projects, ensuring client expectations are met and alternative and innovative approaches are considered.

Yvonne comes with a reputation as a skilled facilitator and change agent; someone who is known for “getting things done”. Yvonne is a highly experienced and outcomes oriented senior executive, with a proven track record of success in corporate strategy, business consulting, general management, program and portfolio management.  She has a wealth of experience providing strategic advice to senior executives across the public and private sectors. She has also led a range of businesses and been able to generate substantial revenue from sources across consulting, project management and delivery.

With a long career in and around Defence, Yvonne has also worked in most industry sectors across Australia and Asia Pacific.  She has held senior positions in leading professional services firms such as Allens, Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Ernst & Young, Kaplan & Norton, Palladium Group, and major infrastructure organisations such as APP Corporation and Transfield Services. Yvonne was Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Institute of Project Management and was instrumental in framing project management competencies, standards, education and training and advocacy at national and international levels.

Yvonne’s deepest subject matter expertise resides in ensuring that organisations deliver on their objectives through effective governance.  She has worked with Government Departments, public and private companies and for purpose organisations to drive better outcomes through balanced oversight and enablement.  Yvonne is passionate about seeing better diversity on boards and committees, and is a strong advocate for gender, cognitive and cultural diversity.  She is a proud mentor and thrives on guiding our next generation of leaders. She is a member of the OECD Corporate Governance Roundtable.  As a recognised thought leader in strategy execution, project management, governance & risk, Yvonne is pleased to be invited regularly to speak at international conferences and seminars.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts in Information Management; Masters of Business Administration (commenced).  MSP Practitioner, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
