In his long and successful career in the Australian Army, Chris has achieved exceptional results with his well-honed leadership style.

Combined with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, Chris has proven to be highly capable of leading complex problem-solving with extensive campaign design and operational planning experience. He is a graduate of both the Army Technical Staff Officer Course and the Australian Command and Staff College. This has enabled him to work in Defence force modernisation, capability development, and joint experimentation organisations. In particular, he has been involved in the design, analysis and conduct of three of Army’s Headline experiments and numerous other smaller exercises, examining specific capability problems and operating concepts.

Chris is a graduate of both the Army Technical Staff Officer Course and the Australian Command and Staff College. He was fortunate to be selected to Command NORFORCE, has led joint operational planning teams on deployment and worked in force modernisation, capability development, and joint experimentation organisations. His career highlight came when he was selected to be the Australian Army’s exchange instructor to the United Kingdom’s Joint Command and Staff College.
