Paula is comfortable with complexity, and thrives on addressing wicked problems. She combines private sector efficiency with the intellectual rigour of a scholar and a healthy aversion to using meaningless consulting jargon.

Paula offers a novel and nuanced view of issues. She works with clients to explore new approaches and ideas to wicked problems. She brings the diversity of her professional and academic experiences to every project. Paula has worked across the public sector, academia and private enterprise, retaining strong networks in each of these fields. This offers clients her unique perspective on issues on the nexus of public policy, non-traditional security threats, international development and political ecology.

Paula joined the Noetic team after several years of conducting strategic communications in Afghanistan. She was ready for a new challenge and excited by the prospect of working with senior level clients on developing bespoke solutions to Australia’s public policy problems.
