Paul brings a breadth of law enforcement and security experience to Noetic.
Paul Jones is a former member of the Australian Federal Police (AFP) departing after a decade as a Detective Superintendent with a total of over 25 years’ service. Paul has extensive counter-terrorism experience having been involved in policy development and operations at both an operational and tactical level including in a range of specialist fields. This includes performing the role of Australia-New Zealand Counter-Terrorism Committee (ANZCTC) Capability Adviser – Dignitary Protection and a member of the writing team for the first National Counter-Terrorism Handbook. Paul was the AFP Coordinator for G20 in Brisbane in 2014 where he had responsibility for the planning, briefing, coordination and budget, for the AFP organisational response with a particular focus on the Leaders’ Summit.
The skills Paul brings to the Noetic team extend beyond his policing experience. Paul has been out-posted or seconded from the AFP to a number of other departments during his career, including the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Centre of Excellence in Policing and Security.
